IRREVERSIBLE PROCESS

Senior thesis exhibition at Stella Elkins gallery, 2017

IRREVERSIBLE PROCESS used the body to explore the differences and distances between the “idealized” and the “real”. The idealized self, as wax, moves towards entropy as the space heater and heat lamps warm the wax. This therapeutic method of dismantling the ideal provides the platform for individual rebirth. The performance of the material contemplates the self as prop, self as subject of dissection, and self as spectacle.
